WeightSnap ("we," "our," "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our application.
1. Information We Collect
When you use WeightSnap, we may collect:
- Google account information (name, email address) when you sign in with Google.
- Uploaded images of your scale/weight entries.
- Weight and related data extracted from your uploads.
- Google Sheets/Drive access (only to create or update a spreadsheet that you own or that has been shared with you).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information only to:
- Log weight and related data into your designated Google Sheet.
- Display your data within the WeightSnap application.
- Provide customer support during your testing period.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Access and Storage
- Your data is stored in your own Google account (Google Sheets and Google Drive) and is not stored on our servers except temporarily during processing.
- Uploaded images are only processed to extract weight data and are not shared with third parties.
- We retain minimal logs for debugging purposes during MVP testing, which will be deleted after the test period.
4. Security
We use secure HTTPS connections and Google's OAuth 2.0 authentication to protect your data in transit. Access to your Google account is limited to the specific permissions you approve when signing in.
5. Your Choices
- You can revoke WeightSnap's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account Permissions.
- You can also contact us at weightsnap.mvp@gmail.com to request deletion of any data we have processed.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or within the app.
