2. Description of Service

WeightSnap is a weight tracking application that allows you to:

• Upload photos of your scale to automatically extract weight data using OCR technology.
• Store your weight history in your personal Google Sheets spreadsheet.
• View analytics, trends, and AI-powered insights about your progress.
• Set goals and track achievements through our badge system.

3. Account and Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account credentials.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to WeightSnap, including photos and weight data. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service (e.g., OCR processing of scale images).

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload content that violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the application.
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission.

6. Premium Features and Payments

WeightSnap may offer premium features for a subscription fee. By subscribing:

• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law and our refund policy.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.

7. Health Disclaimer

WeightSnap is a tracking tool and does not provide medical advice. The AI Coach feature offers general guidance only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your diet or exercise routine.

8. Third-Party Services

WeightSnap integrates with third-party services to provide its functionality:

• Google Services: We use Google OAuth for authentication, Google Sheets for data storage, Google Drive for file management, and Google Cloud Vision for OCR processing.
• AI Services: We use OpenAI's GPT models to power the AI Coach feature for personalized insights.
• Analytics: We use Mixpanel for usage analytics (with your consent).

These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices, availability, or performance of these external services. Your use of WeightSnap constitutes acceptance of these third-party integrations.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of WeightSnap is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeightSnap and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

12. Termination

You may stop using WeightSnap at any time by revoking our access through your Google Account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases, but your data remains in your Google account.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
